We're having a great time at CEA, and have a range of programs for the kids.  With your involvement, we can do much more.  Here are some new efforts we'd like to talk with you about. We'd also welcome your ideas of new programs and initiatives.

5 & under: Story time, Music and Art
Early childhood story time art and music for children under 5 and their caregivers. Donation Sought: $750 for books and materials

Community Garden
We've set aside part of the property for a new community garden. We just need to build it!  We'll teach an introduction to gardening class, and show the children how to care for a kitchen garden.  All of the harvest will naturally be shared with the community.   Donation Sought: $2,000 for non-toxic building materials and  protective covers for insects, heat and rain. 

CEA Volleyball Team

We have volunteer coaches ready to train our young people interested in volley ball. Next up: uniforms and equipment for the team, and funding for regional travel.  Donation sought: $3,000. 
 

Robotics & Coding

This classes are usually only available in expensive and exclusive programs in Costa Rica. However, we've found an excellent, well-established program ready to offer their training at a reduced rate for the community. Donation sought: $4,000 to sponsor a class of 20 for a semester of coding.

Summer and Winter camps

Our last camp was awesome.  We want to expand it significantly next time, to include up to 50 kids (we limited it to 16 for the first camp).  Donation sought: sponsor a group of 50 children for $20,000 for 4 weeks of camp.  Or, sponsor an individual child for a week of camp for $150.
