Volunteer with Us
Gain experience and contribute to the community
CEA is an all-volunteer effort, and we would welcome your participation. We have three types of volunteers overall: local volunteers for activities, digital volunteers for marketing and technical support, and international visitors who come and stay with us for a few weeks or months at a time.
Local Volunteers
Do you have a skill you'd like to contribute to the community? Do you love volleyball and want to organize a team? Do you enjoy gardening, and would be interested in helping us setup the community garden? Or would you like to help us run the library or keep the space organized?
We especially need bilingual speakers, to help with a new English tutoring program for adults!

Digital Volunteers
Do you enjoy sharing on social media, or working with websites? We're so busy working with the kids, we haven't had much of a chance to spread the word about CEA online. We could also use your help maintaining our website, and set up new features.
International Volunteers
Are you looking for a unique experience in a beautiful country, where you can contribute meaningfully to the lives of others?
CEA has a guest house on-site, where we can host individual or small groups of volunteers. We also have a network of community members who can host larger school or church groups,
During your time with us, we'll both engage you on direct projects to help, and give you an introduction to this wonderful place so you can travel and visit the beaches, mountains, and rainforests of Costa Rica.
